Mr. Callahan has been selected as a Workplace Hero and will receive the Red Cross Real Heroes award at a breakfast later this month for "unselfish and heroic actions." Mr. Callahan is being recognized for assisting two students and their mother who were victims of domestic violence last school year according to the article published on the APS website. Mr. Callahan organized a collection from co-workers and church members to help the family survive by supplying them with clothes, shoes and food until assistance became available. The Comanche Community is very lucky to have such caring and dedicated teachers at Comanche.

Kindergarten Pre-Registration 2012-2013

Comanche will be accepting Kindergarten Pre-Registrations from 9am-1pm from April 2, 2012 to May 4, 2012 for students living in Comanche's district only. Please bring the following: Birth Certificate 5 years old on or before August 31, 2012, Current Shot Record, and Proof of Residence: PNM/Gas Bill or lease agreement.

Art Dessert Night

Art Dessert Night will be held the evening of May 11, 2012. Please join us for delicious desserts, wonderul entertainment provided by you favorite students, the ever popular childrens basket auction, a wonderful Silent Auction with great prizes donated by our community and your child's amazing art work! Please try to attend this wonderful event as it raises money for Comanche's music and art departments.
